Wendy and Brandy are.. GIFTED... to say the very least!.

They  are the power and source behind Wicked Photography by Lady Narf.

Wendy, also a photographer makes some of the most creative costumes, wigs, mini top hats and accessories that I have ever seen!  She is a creative force to be rereckoned with to be sure! Brandy is the energetic and beautiful model ( see below ) behind most of the pictures at their web site, and armed with her computer she is also the person that makes those pictures look so magical.

Now when you put them together you have a creative whirlwind of amazing talent, the results of which are  a funtastic make over, beautiful pictures and the best time you'll ever have! 

What more can a women ask for than to have a dress up party and take pictures? I'm telling you I glowed for weeks after reliving each fun, laughter filled moment we had.

When I asked the two of them how they started I was surprised when  I found out that they are both completely self taught!!!  Apparently the seeds of creativity and imagination were planted deep and young by Wendy's mother and Aunt. One year while planning on attending the North West's largest Faerie festival FaerieWorlds, Wendy made an extrodinary costume for her daughter, receiving much admiration and praise from people attending this is what started the ball rolling. Thank goodness as these ladies are really something very,VERY special !

So What was it like spending the day with them?

Wendy and Brandy pulled up in their little car jam packed with wigs, tons of costumes, baskets of jewelry,more baskets of accessories, hat boxes, shoes, hose, and make-up. After helping to unload all these goodies ( it was like a treasure chest on wheels! LOL!) We quickly set up camp in my nice roomy bedroom which looked like back stage at some fantastic play. Wendy and Brandy had us cracking up the whole time we were getting ready. These two are like a comedy team! Soon we were all suited up in Steampunk Glam, accessorized to the hilt, wigs on and make-up done. We even got to put on false eyelashes! ( boy...was that an adventure!) When I looked in the mirror I didn't even look like myself ! I loved it!!!

And my daughter looked absolutely amazing! She is already very pretty, but it was so much fun to see her all dressed up.

I'll tell you hoestly, I was pretty nervous about having my picture taken as I don't consider myself the most photogenic of people. But Wendy and Brandy put me right at ease and helped me find my inner America's Next Top Model! By the time we did our costume change to Gothic I felt like an old pro and was completely at ease. Wendy is a terrific director. She allows you to do what ever feels comfortable, and will sometimes tell you to hold a pose or "change up".  The cool thing is you know that you are going to have some fabulous shots to keep!!!!

What did my husband think?...

My husband works from home so he was here for the day of the shoot. I have to say, I don't  think he quite understood what all my excitement was about. He knows that I really LOVE to dress up in costumes, but this was like such an exciting day for me it was all I could do to keep from jumping up and down and squeeling with glee. I knew this was going to be so much fun!!!

Well costume #1 Steampunk: I came out to show Jim and it was such a kick to see him do a double take!!!!  He said that just for the most brief of moments he thought "Who is that?" I love it!

Actually each time I came out he did the eye popping double take!!!

I think he enjoyed the day too! I know that besides the whole dress up and seeing his wife look so different , that he enjoyed seeing me so happy and having such a great time.
